Rowan Park Teaching School is an outstanding special school, which supports the learning and development of children and young people aged 3 -19 years. The school has two sites; Rowan Park School for pupils aged 3-19 years with severe and complex learning difficulties and Rowan High School for pupils aged 11-19 years with a diagnosis of Autism.
The Governors wish to appoint a Receptionist/Administration Assistant to provide general clerical, administrative and financial support to the School.
Duties will include dealing with the collection, recording and balancing of all monies received by the school, i.e. dinner monies, petty cash, School trip monies and School fund.
You will be very organised and motivated, with strong time management skills, being able to work productively whilst prioritising tasks effectively.
The successful candidate will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to deal with all visitors to the school in a professional manner and make them feel welcomed and comfortable.
Experience of SIMS is desirable, although full training will be provided.
Work pattern is Monday to Thursday – 8.30 a.m. to 4.30 p.m. (45 minute unpaid lunch) and Friday – 8.30 a.m. to 4.15 p.m. (45 minute unpaid lunch)
