Are you interested in working in the Fostering Service i.e. specifically the Connected Persons Team? The Connected Person’s Team currently has a vacancy for a full time Social Worker. The team completes Initial Viability Assessments and Connected Persons/Special Guardianship Order assessments and provides short term support and supervision to approved foster carers prior to their transfer to the Fostering Team. You will carry a manageable caseload and work closely with colleagues in childcare teams and with other professionals to assess and support connected carers. We are looking for an experienced and energetic Social Worker to join our busy team to ensure regulation of placements and to support some of the most vulnerable children and young people in NCC to achieve positive outcomes.
