We’re looking for an Organisational & Development & Engagement Officer to come and join the HR team here at Folkestone & Hythe District Council and support the implementation of our OD strategy.
We are currently in the process of expanding our work across East Kent authorities so this is a very exciting time for us and a brilliant opportunity to get involved.
We are an organisation that really values learning and development and there will be an opportunity to gain professional qualifications as part of this role. Flexible working is also offered in this role.
You’ll work closely with our OD & Engagement Business Partner and OD & Engagement Manager and be responsible for supporting organisational effectiveness through people and culture development, and change management across the authorities. You will take the lead on delivering soft skills and Business Administration courses and ensure the council is meeting its statutory responsibilities in terms of mandatory training.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
• Recent and relevant experience working within a people/organisational development environment
• Demonstrable skills and experience in managing/developing people
• Experience in delivering soft skills courses
• Strong presentation and facilitation skills
