We have an opportunity to be part of a new vibrant team. We are seeking a Project Director to be part of our multiskilled Smart Energy project team. The role is fixed term 2 days per week until 31st March 2021 funding permitting.
Ideally you will have proven experience in leading EU funded projects, technical skills and knowledge in relation to energy and carbon, excellent relationship and communication skills, and be an effective team worker.
The Council has set out its ambition to become nationally and internationally recognised as the UK’s leading region for low-carbon energy and the UK capital of the renewable energy industry. We have been awarded £5.4m of European Regional Development Fund towards a £9.2m project to lead on, and deliver, energy efficiency improvements on behalf of the Greater Lincolnshire LEP until March 2021. The project will deliver improvements across the public sector estate and support businesses (SMEs) to improve resource efficiency.
This is an exciting opportunity to have a significant role in delivering “clean growth” for the area, a low carbon economy and provide investment to support sustainability.
