We are currently looking for a Family Centre Worker to join our team. You will be working with children aged 4-19 with a broad spectrum of needs.
As the Family Centre Worker, you will be responsible for planning, leading and facilitating short break sessions for our 8-11 year olds. During this time you will have responsibility for children and staff, whilst ensuring the session runs smoothly.
You will have experience in supporting children with communication needs and a passion to provide fun and exciting opportunities for children to support their, learning, development, social interaction and independence skills.
In your daily role you will also be responsible for completing initial home visits, report writing, direct work, outreach work and attending multi-agency meetings. You will be required to work 37 hours per week - (this will include working 2 out of every 3 Saturdays and some evening work).
As the ideal candidate, you will be required to hold a relevant Level 3 childcare qualification and have at least 2 years’ experience of working with disabled children in a professional setting.
