The Public Protection Partnership (PPP), is a joint service between Bracknell Forest Council, West Berkshire Council and Wokingham Borough Council and was formed in January 2017. It delivers focussed and high quality environmental health, trading standards and licensing service to some 470,000 residents and over 10,000 businesses.
We are looking for an enthusiatic field officer to work as part of our operational residential team. Although generic in nature, the post will have an emphasis on mobile home site regulation and tenancy realtions within the private rented sector.
The successful candidate will be involved in service delivery surrounding regulatory and enforcement matters designed to protect public health. You will need a good knowledge of the legal frameworks covering investigation and inspection; be empathetic but appropriately assertive; a strong communicator and a good team player.
The post is fixed term for 12 months for interium support.
The post offers a free working environment across the PPP areas, but will be based within the Market Street Offices, Newbury.
This role has been identified as public facing in accordance with Part 7 of the Immigration Act 2017; the requirement to fulfil all spoken aspects of the role with confidence in English applies.
