At Thurrock, we have an ambitious Housing Investment Plan to be delivered, which includes our target to build 1000 homes per year.
Our customers are at the heart of everything we do. As one of our Quality Assurance Officers you will act as a champion for our residents to ensure that all our investment and development programmes are designed and delivered are resident focused and meet’s their satisfaction.
You’ll work closely with staff across the directorate and contractors to ensure seamless and prompt delivery of building works. You’ll also act on behalf of residents, to ensure concerns, complaints and enquiries raised are effectively investigated and addressed, with outcomes communicated to those all involved within corporately agreed targets and deadlines. You will understand the importance of customer care and be able to demonstrate this in your dealings with issues that arise.
To be considered for this role, you’ll have experience of working in a front line customer focused and high volume area and you will have highly developed written, verbal, and analytical skills. You will have the ability to review and quality check processes and procedure across a diverse number of areas and make any recommendations for improvement, seeing these through to implementation and reviewing their success. To fulfil the requirements of this demanding role you will need to be adaptable, flexible, with ability to multi task, and have an eye for detail.
