Are you a strong communicator who is passionate about the best outcomes for children and young people, and able to work across a diverse range of education services?
We are seeking to appoint one full-time and one part-time Inclusion Officer (term time plus 15 days) to join a newly developed Inclusion Service, which includes the Education Welfare, Looked after Children in Education and Behaviour services.
The successful candidate will need to have excellent communication skills and dynamic interpersonal skills, along with a good knowledge of education as there will be daily contact with schools and academies as part of the role.
You will work as a case holder for the Inclusion Service, facilitating the statutory Looked after Children requirements for children and young people, supporting the facilitation of access to education through the Behaviour and Attendance Collaborative (BAC) and working closely with Education Welfare to improve school attendance.
There will be a requirement to carry a diverse caseload which will be centered on strong outcomes for some of the most vulnerable and hard to reach children and young people in North East Lincolnshire.
