A Shift Leader is required at the above home on a permanent basis.
Lord Hardy Court provides care to 60 older people, with a range of individual needs, and mental health problems including Dementia. The home also provides Respite, IMC Step up Step down services to the community and joint working with the NHS.
Applicants ideally need experience of working in a social care setting.
You will possess a Level 6 qualification e.g. Bachelor Degrees, Graduate Certificates and Diplomas, or Level 5 qualification e.g. Diplomas of HE and FE, foundation degrees and HNDs, plus experience in relevant areas of work over a period of years
Evidence of the equivalent level of knowledge gained through work experience.
Shiift Leaders are expected to contribute to the provision of a comfortable, stimulating homely environment, that meets the CQC Fundamental l Standards of Care, maintaining health and safety and dignity in care principles.
You will be responsible for the management and effective deployment of staff on duty and within your own area of responsibility in order to maintain standards and meet the needs of service users.
You will undertake direct work with service users, carers, other agencies or personnel to ensure that person centred plans are detailed to meet individual needs, implemented, monitored and reviewed with all staff involved.
You will also contribute to the development of a customer focussed service that is responsive and flexible in relation to customer needs.
Lord Hardy Court operates a shift system on a rota basis, this includes weekends, bank holidays, and cover is required up to 37 hours for leave and sickness.
