Brighton and Hove is a vibrant and exciting place to live and work and an opportunity has arisen to join our hospital services team.

Hospital social work is changing and we are at the forefront of this through Discharge to Assess and a move towards community-based practice wherever possible.

We are looking for a full-time social worker to join our service who is able to work in a flexible and responsive manner, rotating through both a variety of acute and community settings.

We are looking for someone who has strong assessment and communication skills, clear and up-to-date knowledge of relevant legislation, such as the Care Act and Mental Capacity Act and someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced, multi-disciplinary setting.

We welcome applications from all sections of the community but particularly encourage applicants from a BME or White Other background as well as those who identify as disabled, male or trans as these groups are currently under-represented in our Directorate workforce.
