We are currently recruiting a Finance Assistant for 15 hours a week for a fixed one year contract. – Applicants will be required to work Monday and Friday mornings, but the remainder of the hours are flexible and will be agreed on appointment. This exciting new post has arisen to become part of a team providing efficient and effective management of client’s financial affairs. Functions include all aspects of Court of Protection Deputyship and DWP Appointeeship, in accordance with statutory requirements and the Council’s policies and procedures.

The post holder will be required to deal with administrative work, use online banking, and reconcile bank accounts and cash, so a good financial background would be beneficial.

As the client base is varied to include those with mental health issues, learning disabilities and behavioral issues, the post holder will need excellent communication skills and have the ability to communicate on many levels.

We are looking for an innovative, energetic, self-driven, motivated individual who aspires to make a difference.

An enhanced DBS will be required for this role.
