An exciting opportunity has arisen within Stevenage Direct Services for a driver / labourer to work as part of a team to deliver a robust responsive repairs service to our tenant’s homes and the Councils empty properties
To be successful in this role you will have experience of property maintenance and have the ability to carry out assigned work to the required standard whilst adhering to Health and Safety policy and processes.
The range of duties and work includes:
- Fencing installations and repairs, ensuring that quality standards are adhered to and appropriate timescales are met
- General driving / delivery duties
- Site clearance / collections
- Supporting on 2 man operations with skilled operatives
Successful candidate will have:
- Previous fencing experience, along with the highest standards of workmanship and a good knowledge of fencing techniques including installing and replacing fence panels and chainlink.
- Excellent customer service and basic communication skills
- Good knowledge and understanding of Health & Safety
