Service Manager – Fostering Services A bright future for you, a bright future for them. Northamptonshire County Council is developing an innovative and vibrant children’s service that focusses on putting the children and families of Northamptonshire at the forefront of what we do. This is an exciting time as we introduce systems and working methods designed to make our job of safeguarding children as clear and consistent as possible. We want to make a real difference to the children and young people we work with and in order to do that we need the most competent and confident people to join our teams. We currently have a vacancy for a Service Manager in Fostering. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of our continuing improvement journey and to help influence the future of social work in Northamptonshire. If you are a qualified, registered social work manager with a strong background in the provision of fostering services, please get in touch. To take our services to the next level we have created Children First Northamptonshire. This change will enable us to be more flexible, to do things differently and drive forward best practice, removing bureaucracy and freeing up practitioners to spend more time with children and families. We are also currently adopting Signs of Safety into practice – an internationally recognised model for direct work with children and families that provides a child-centred and solution-focused framework for risk management. If you think you are ready for a new challenge and have the experience and skills we need we would like to hear from you. We have a range of roles available so if this isn’t the right role for you at this stage check out our recruitment pages. We are committed to career progression and employee development and feel confident we will help you achieve your goals.
