STRATEGIC MANAGER FOR SAFEGUARDING STRATEGIC MANAGER FOR MASH AND CHILDRENS SOCIAL CARE ‘FRONT DOOR’ Salary £67,407 - £79,181 Relocation package of up to £8000 to support a move to Northamptonshire Northamptonshire County Council are looking for two Strategic Managers. Are you passionate about children and have a track record for leading and developing services that support staff and brings together agencies to keep children safe? Northamptonshire is at a critical stage in its service delivery and requires two experienced senior managers to lead its ‘Front Door’ and ‘Child Protection’ services. The county has had a difficult recent history but has great challenge and opportunity ahead of it. We are now working hard to ensure stability and good children’s services as we move to our new service delivery model. There is a long way to go and our determination and drive to deliver robust services for our most vulnerable children is our single priority. To join us on our journey, you need to be skilled at leading significant change and rapid improvement of Children’s Social Care Services, able to engage the workforce and key partners effectively to drive improvements, and be a resilient and self-motivated leader who understands the business well. The posts available are: • Strategic Manager – MASH and ‘front door’. Key to your role will be working with partners to ensure a safe and timely response to referrals to children’s social care • Strategic Manager - - Safeguarding and Care Planning. This role acts as the strategic lead for all children in need of protection. With strong political support you will be joining a team of hardworking and committed staff who are determined in making Northamptonshire’s Children’s Service the best it can be.
