We have an exciting opportunity for a highly organised, motivated and diligent Pathways Move on Team Manager to join our multi-faceted team. The main objective for the post holder is to manage and support the team of Move on Advisers and Referral Coordinators by providing high quality housing options advice, assistance and specialist referral coordination services to people in need of specialist supported housing and those living in hostels to enable them to secure alternative accommodation. You will ensure your team are moving single homeless people in supported accommodation into independent accommodation of their own. The successful candidate will lead on the development of move in, move through and move on options for people accessing and leaving supported housing and hostels. The successful candidate will be responsible working with the Housing Options & Advice and Private Sector Initiatives teams to plan the delivery of a broad range of housing options which meet the needs of hostel residents who are ready for independent living.
This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act and will require an Enhanced DBS.
To be considered for this vacancy it is essential the successful candidate possesses at least 1 years’ experience of providing advice and assistance to households in hostels in housing need. You will have previous demonstrable experience of achieving performance targets and meeting departmental performance objectives alongside demonstrable ability to manage and motivate staff whilst supporting the team to provide high quality services and meet performance targets within a pressurised and high profile environment. The successful candidate will have a keen analytical eye and possess the ability to analyse and present high quality statistical data.
