An exciting opportunity has arisen for two Senior Care Assistants within our Domiciliary Care Team.
The main areas of responsibility will be the safe handling, administration and recording of medication for vulnerable adults living within the community. The role will require you to ensure medication compliance across the service. You will be working closely with the Medication Officers to ensure safe and effective medication management.
You will need to be able to keep a comprehensive and accurate record of all issues relating to medication. You will also be expected to liaise with relevant health care professionals. As well as, regular update meetings and training sessions will need to be conducted as necessary.

To be suitable for the role you will need to be enthusiastic, have knowledge and experience of administering medication and be familiar with Care Quality Commission fundamental standards.
The ideal candidate must also have a full driving licence and access to their own vehicle is required.
A Disclosure and Barring Service Check (DBS) at Enhanced level will be required for this post.
