Kingston and Sutton Councils have already undergone significant digital and technological transformation, allowing us to start to revolutionise the way we deliver key services. We look to our Digital Business Analysts to lead this transformation, helping stakeholders and users to reimagine and redesign how we deliver services to our communities, ensuring that the user is at the heart of any change.
We have an exciting opportunity for talented Digital Business Analysts to play key roles in driving genuine transformation throughout the councils.
You’ll take the lead on a range of digital service design projects, working with users and service managers to co-design user-centric digital services and realise the true potential of technology.
As an experienced Digital Business Analyst, you will work collaboratively to develop a full understanding of user needs, carry out analysis of service processes and resources, support identification of savings, and lead improvements to business processes through better use of technology.
You’ll take responsibility for all deliverables involved in the discovery, analysis and monitoring aspects of projects. You’ll be a visible presence throughout all projects in which you are involved, regularly communicating with all involved and ensuring that your deadlines and milestones are met.
This role requires an experienced and tenacious individual, capable of influencing, challenging and motivating others to ensure that we achieve genuine transformation, and to ensure we remain committed to co-designing user-centric digital services.
We’re looking for someone who really understands processes and will look to identify opportunities for further efficiencies, wherever possible.
It’s crucial that you’re able to understand the bigger picture when it comes to wider business and corporate need. This should give you what you need to be an effective champion of change and inspire others to follow suit.
As well as experience as a business analyst, you will need to have experience of working on similar service transformation programmes; have the ability and confidence to challenge current practices and encourage people to consider and adopt alternative approaches to service delivery; and have a passion and commitment to designing user-centric digital services which meet the Local Government Standard.
Here at Kingston and Sutton, we want people who share our forward thinking and innovative approach to our work. We’re looking for talented professionals who thrive in a creative atmosphere and want to work on the forefront of dynamic service delivery.
Appointment at the senior level will require you to be able to demonstrate significant experience of leading complex business analysis and service redesign projects. Although this role doesn’t involve any direct management responsibility, we will look to you to play a leading role in the team. As a senior member of the team, you’ll inspire and act as a role model for more junior members.
Kingston and Sutton Councils take a huge amount of pride in the services we provide. We’re committed to delivering great public services that are not only highly effective but also easily accessible. We’ve championed the digitisation of services as well as adopting a ‘mobile first’ model to ensure that this commitment is fulfilled.
Those joining us will find a friendly and collaborative workplace where they are fully supported, both in their work and their future development. We offer a range of training opportunities as well as enabling a range of flexible working arrangements to ensure that you’re always connected to your colleagues.
We believe that all this, combined with a fantastic benefits package, makes Kingston and Sutton Councils the perfect place to further your career.
