This is a great opportunity for a qualified Occupational Therapist (OT) to expand their skills in improving the safety and independence of disabled people and their carers to remain in their homes. The team carries out OT assessments of support and care needs of people impaired by long term conditions. It is an exciting and creative time in Adult Services as we are developing new ways of working to meet the challenges ahead.
We are looking for a dynamic and competent OT to join the Long Term Occupational Therapy Team who will independently manage a caseload of people with a range of complex needs using analytical and communication skills with robust clinical reasoning to determine their OT support needs.
This post offers the opportunity for you to supervise or mentor OT assistants and students. We offer good opportunities for learning and development to support your CPD and HCPC Registration.
To apply for this position you must have an Occupational Therapy (OT) qualification and preferably also have experience in community based Social Care OT provision. You must have current registration with the HCPC to practice Occupational Therapy.
