Thurrock Music Services provides instrumental and vocal support for the schools in its area. It is currently seeking to recruit a forward thinking, dynamic and highly motivated-staff to its pool of part-time peripatetic instrumental/vocal tutors.
Tutors will be expected to deliver tuition to pupils in individual and group settings including whole class provision.
Applications from all instrumental/vocal disciplines are welcomed, but the ability to teach one or more of the following:
- Lower brass
- Steel pans
Double reed are of particular interest. Formal qualifications (such as a music teaching diploma) and/or proven teaching/performing experience are an essential requirement.
It is expected that tutors can drive and have access to a vehicle. An enhanced disclosure check with the Disclosure and Barring Service will be undertaken for this post
