Annual Salary – £23,111 per annum + standby and callout payments
Hours – 37 hours per week (Monday to Friday) + callout duties on a rota basis

What’s the job?
The Assets team has responsibility for the repair, maintenance and improvement of the Council’s Housing Stock and all of the corporate buildings. The vacancy is for an Electrician to join our team, capable of carrying out multi-skilling associated with building maintenance.
Who are we looking for?
You will be expected to meet the following essential criteria:
- City & Guilds BS7671 17th Edition.
- NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation.
- City & Guilds 2391 Inspection and Testing (or City & Guilds 2394 or 2395).
- Previous experience in electrical installation.
- A working knowledge of condition reporting (periodic inspection reports).
Being flexible, you will be responsible for your own work load and providing an excellent service to our customers. By building trust and having excellent interpersonal skills, you will quickly develop good working relationships with colleagues and partners. You should also be customer focused and business like, ensuring that the ethos of ‘One Team Selby’ is embraced.
