ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH TECHNICAL OFFICER
Maternity Leave Cover – 37 hours per week
Salary range G4 - £25,464 – £31,401 per annum
We are seeking to recruit a Technical Officer to join our Environmental Control and Pollution Team to cover a period of Maternity Leave for 6-12 months.
This is a front line role, supporting our residents, Members and working with our partners to mitigate and resolve a wide range of environmental health service demands from nuisance investigation to animal licensing and welfare issues.
The role requires a confident and capable approach from an experienced and competent officer, who ideally has Environmental Health or other relevant qualifications and a good working knowledge of the law. Applicants should have strong organisational and IT skills, and experience of dealing with the public in a support and enforcement environment.
