Salary: Band 9, £30,755 - £34,105

Hours: Full time, 37 hours per week
Reporting to the Contracts Manager (Employment, Learning and Skills - ELS), you will lead a small team of construction training support staff to deliver multi trade courses to adults and young people.
You will take responsibility for the day-to-day running of the workshop, develop practical training tasks that best enable participants to achieve their goals and will be developing lesson plans and teaching materials for practical lessons as well as keeping records of student attendance, progress and achievement.
An important part of the role will involve marketing and promoting the services of ELS to construction companies, so you will need to arrange site visits and Work Experience Placements as well as attending appropriate events such as job fairs, career conventions and employer open days.
If you are a self-starter with the ability to lead and motivate others and have recent industry experience of a trade such as bricklaying, plastering or plumbing etc. then we would love to hear from you.
