We are looking for an IT assistant/administrator to provide support to staff, volunteers and service users in our Youth Offending Service and Leaving Care Service. You will need to be enthusiastic, friendly and assertive as the post holder will be the initial point of contact for service users .
You will need to be well organised, able to work to deadlines and committed to being an integral part of the team. You will need to be confident and able to engage with young people , some of whom might be experiencing a range of difficulties. You will be committed to safeguarding children and young people.
You will also need experience of working in a busy office environment, have excellent IT and communication skills ,be able to use your initiative and show a willingness to be flexible. You will be working in a constantly changing and sometimes challenging environment. Ideally, you will have had some experience of working in an organisation that delivers services to young people. This post is for a full time position of 37 hours per week but the ability to work on a flexible basis is essential as some evening work may be required .
An enhanced DBS will be required.
