Residential Property Manager
About your new Council
Spelthorne Borough may be compact, but we are very forward thinking and there are huge opportunities on offer in property management and residential lettings. Heathrow is on our doorstep, we are promoting a Southern Light Rail link to the airport, and Shepperton Studios have their home here. As a Council we have significant landholdings and development opportunities in Staines-upon-Thames. We also have a wholly owned Council company – Knowle Green Estates Ltd – to deliver our development programme.
There are significant housing pressures in the borough. Our wholly owned Council Company has the clear vision of delivering 20% of the Boroughs housing need in the next five years (over 600 units) and beyond. These properties will be held by the Company and will provide for affordable and private rented. We have started on this journey and now require someone with expertise to be our Residential Property Manager. This is a unique opportunity to help shape the service to ensure it delivers a high quality, customer centric service for the Council and the residents of the borough.
What we’re looking for from you
- Commercial acumen and private sector experience
- Proven track record in delivery of and residential property and lettings
- Drive, enthusiasm and ability to work at pace
- Relevant professional qualifications
In return we can offer excellent conditions of service with a benefits package that
includes flexible working hours, pension scheme, free car parking, at least 23
