We are looking for a a enthusiastic and skilled social worker to join the Brighton and Hove Fostering Team on a full time basis for a fixed term of 12 months. The support and supervision of foster carers is central to the work and providing children in care with high quality placements. The service places a high emphasis on working closely with foster carers and ensuring they are equipped and supported in their role. There are exciting development opportunities as well as others in working with the team around the child.
We welcome applications from all sections of the community but particularly encourage applicants from a BME or White Other background as well as those who identify as disabled, LGB, male or trans as these groups are currently under-represented in our Directorate workforce.
