About the role
Travelling throughout the district, you will advise on, investigate and treat pest infestations from bed bugs and fleas to mice and rats, whether in residential properties or on council owned land. You will also assist with the enforcement of legislation related to pest control and with the collection and transportation of found dogs to nominated kennels. A council vehicle and appropriate clothing will be provided.

Qualified to RSPH Level 2 with a good understanding of all current pest control legislation, you will have the ability to prioritise workloads and have experience in a similar role. Respectful and considerate, you will quickly build rapport with customers and stakeholders and have the ability to manage situations professionally and calmly. You will also be fully conversant with Microsoft Office, ICT literate and hold a valid driving licence (reasonable adjustments may be possible according to the Equality Act).
