Senior Communications and Stakeholder Manager – Fixed Term 12 months contract with the chance of extension (PO5)

An exciting opportunity has arisen in the Communications Team for a Senior Communications and Stakeholder Manager working to highlight our work in tackling issues such as rogue landlords, inadequate food hygiene, poor air quality and consumer protection.
You will be writing engaging content, assisting in media handling and producing social and digital content that will keep residents and stakeholders informed about the work of the council as well as championing local resident’s causes.
You will have excellent writing and social media skills and a willingness to learn. The role requires enthusiasm and a willingness to learn and adapt to a constantly changing workload. In return you will get the chance to use your creativity and skills to promote and develop our work on tackling gangs, improving air quality, regeneration, housing and transport to name but a few.
Enthusiasm and flexibility are key, as is the ability to translate the organisations plans into engaging content for our residents. Based in Walthamstow, the team sits at the heart of the council.
