Advert introduction

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Access to Records Co-ordinator to manage the Subject Access Request (SAR) Team.

Main advert detail

We are looking for a highly-skilled, experienced person with leadership qualities to co-ordinate and manage a team of Access to Records Business Support Officers, as well as holding your  own case load. This is a varied, and interesting key role requiring flexibility and excellent IT skills, along with communication and interpersonal skills.

A background of working with GDPR/data protection is an advantage, but relevant professional training will be offered to the successful candidate.

This exciting role is pivotal to ensuring service users are able to access their personal data from the council. You will be a clear and concise communicator who enjoys team working and is flexible and pragmatic.

We welcome applications from all sections of the community but particularly encourage applicants from a BME or White Other background as well as those who identify as disabled, LGB, male or trans as these groups are currently under-represented in our Directorate workforce.
