We are currently looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Revenues Officer to join our Revenues Team.

The successful applicant will be responsible for ensuring that all aspects of council tax, recovery and non-domestic rating procedures are conducted speedily and efficiently, including:

• Dealing with enquiries and providing advice to the public regarding council tax issues, (and where required, council tax recovery & non-domestic rating)
• Processing amendments to council tax and non-domestic rating accounts
• Dealing with general correspondence and maintaining accurate records electronically

To succeed in this role you will be well organised, methodical and computer literate. You will be able to communicate confidently with people from all backgrounds maintaining confidentiality at all times. The ability to work as part of a team as well as managing your own workload will be part of your key skills, along with accuracy and attention to detail. Previous experience of local authority revenues administration in council tax is essential, and knowledge and experience of council tax recovery and National Non Domestic Rates is desirable. 

The post is offered on a full time basis (36 hours per week).
