As part of our vision to create an outstanding Care Management Service we are looking to recruit a Team Manager to join our existing established management team.
As a Team Manager you will be part of a Service Area consisting 24 social workers, 3 Family Support Workers and a Consultant Social Worker. You will be lead, motivate and supervise a pod of 6 Social Workers holding mixed caseloads of child in need, child protection and court work. You will also have responsibility for managing resources, quality assuring the work of your team, ensuring performance standards are met, chairing meetings and managing cases through legal proceeding. You will work in collaboration with internal and external and key stakeholders.
You will demonstrate high standards of social work practice and have experience of supervising Social Workers or Students.
You will share our vision for innovation, creativity and relationship-based approaches and deliver the best possible outcomes for local children and their families.
Special Requirements for this Post
A professional Social Work qualification and HCPC Registration is required for this post. This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and a comprehensive screening process will be undertaken on successful applicants including an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Services check.
