This is an exciting opportunity to join the busy Bi-borough Admissions and Access to Education team. The team is responsible for a range of statutory functions, and is looking for an enthusiastic and hard-working addition to the team to carry out its duties in identifying and tracking children that are believed to be missing education. This role also supports the work of monitoring children that have registered as educating at home, and case work related for Fair Access referrals. The role requires the confidence to not only carry out home visits with families, but the skill to adapt communication when dealing with professionals, such as social workers and headteachers. The successful post holder will therefore need to be someone that embraces diversity in their workload, can be empathetic but also appropriately assertive.
