Property, Investment & Estates
Westminster is an extraordinary local authority, in the heart of London where employees have a genuine opportunity to influence the shape of the City. As one of the largest Central London landowners, Westminster is a dynamic place to work and a leader in the property sector. Our investment and corporate real estate portfolios combine to provide over £900m of assets across all core sectors.
Our Property, Investments and Estates team manages a varied portfolio, by carefully managing those assets we improve performance, grow income and increase capital value. We’re also introducing efficiencies to our corporate real estate portfolio to reduce cost and corporate footprint
Right now, our Corporate Property team is looking for an experienced Asset Manager to manage the council’s investment property portfolio. Working closely with external managing agents, together you’ll ensure that all of the council’s aims and business objectives are achieved. On any given day you could be instructing consultants or contractors, helping to implement asset management best practice or identifying opportunities to reduce costs. In short, you can look forward to plenty of challenges and variety.
A Member of the RICS, you have proven experience in a range of aspects of commercial property management, particularly asset management. You’re highly numerate too, have excellent project management skills and are great at solving even the trickiest problem. What’s more, you're as comfortable managing client relationships as you are drafting reports or keeping property records, data and information up-to-date.
If you’re as productive as you are ambitious and collaborative as you are enterprising, this is your chance to take real ownership of your work, right in the heart of iconic Westminster, a true ‘City for All’.
As a progressive and innovative organisation, we welcome applications from candidates keen to work in an agile environment with flexible conditions.
