To help with the administration and maintenance of the cemeteries in South Bucks.
To provide administration assistance to the Head Gardener.
Liaise with the property and contracts department to ensure contractors are meeting their contractual obligations.
The jobholder should have good experience of administrative work.
Many of the customers will have been recently bereaved so the jobholder must be able to deal sensitively with customers whether in person, on the telephone or by letter/email.
The jobholder must display attention to detail, particularly in ensuring the accuracy of records kept and wording on memorials.
The jobholder must be IT literate with good knowledge of using Windows and Excel, and the ability to learn to use our cemetery database systems.
