Housing Property Services within Islington employs around 500 staff working in a broad range of roles to manage, co-ordinate and deliver repairs and improvement works to around 29,000 council homes across the borough.
We are seeking a Property Services Project Manager to work within a small, central team within the service responsible for driving change and continuous improvement to all areas of the department. In this role you will be responsible for the successful delivery of a wide variety of challenging improvement and change projects.
You will be skilled in project management techniques with experience of successfully delivering projects which have resulted in positive change, improvement and efficiency to services. You can communicate clearly and effectively both verbally and in writing with senior and service managers, officers and staff and a wide range of other stakeholders including local residents. You are confident using IT and enthusiastic about the benefits it can bring to the service now and in the future. You also work well in a high pressure environment, managing often complex and conflicting priorities whilst ensuring that deadlines are met.
