Financial Processes Officer (
£23,166- £25,425 inclusive of outer fringe allowance
37 hours per week
We are looking for a Financial Processes Officer to join our Finance team.
You will be working within a team to deliver a broad range of financial activities relating to accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll and banking.
You will have your own area of direct responsibility but will work with the other Financial Processes Officers to support other areas when required to meet the team’s objectives.
You will undertake processes on our financial systems which ensure the prompt payment of invoices, accurate processing of payroll, timely collection of debts and correct allocation of income received by the Council. You will also be responsible for answering queries from suppliers, customers and members of staff about the processes carried out within the team.
- Be educated to GCSE level or equivalent
- Have relevant experience in at least one of the following areas: accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll or banking
- Have experience of working in an office environment
