Salary: £29,310 - £33,665 (per annum pro rata) plus 14% annual leave allowance, mileage at £0.45p per mile and expenses

We are seeking innovative, results-focused and passionate trainers and consultants in many specialist areas to help employees cultivate their skills and knowledge. Our trainers deliver existing courses and our consultants are expected to design, deliver and review courses.
We have opportunities in three areas: Children & Families Services, Health Wellbeing & Adult Social Care, and Corporate Services & Career Development Teams.
To be successful in the role of trainer or consultant, you need:
- An ability to speak in front of a group and encourage participation
- Flexibility with your work assignments: location and times
- Organisational skills and a positive attitude
For the opportunities in Children & Families Services and Health Wellbeing & Adult Social Care, you will need to have an experience of working in those sectors (e.g. Residential, homecare, reablement). You will also need to demonstrate up to date knowledge on key legislation and practice in areas such as social work, regulated child care settings, regulated adult care services. We are looking for trainers and consultants to deliver:
- Moving & handling
- Safeguarding (adults and/or children)
- Child protection and assessment
- Reporting and recording
- Positive behaviour support and many more.
In the Corporate Services & Career Development, we are particularly keen to increase our pool of consultants who have experience of coaching and career development support through their previous experiences.
