We are seeking a motivated, customer-orientated individual to join our Income and Recovery Team within the Council Tax Section.
You will be working as part of a busy multi-functional team with a high level of customer contact (telephone, face-to-face and in writing). The role will also involve making proactive telephone calls to customers to collect payment and negotiate payment arrangements. You will have responsibility for updating and maintaining accurate records on the Council Tax database.
You will need to demonstrate competency to maximise the collection of income, ensuring that a professional and efficient service is provided at all times.
Ideally you will have experience in the collection and administration of Council Tax or similar relevant experience. Preference will be given to those candidates who can demonstrate a working knowledge of Council Tax legislation and the use of a relevant database.
We offer flexible working as an option once fully trained. We actively encourage a professional qualification through the IRRV.
