Westminster holds an understandable allure for London’s tourists, and it also offers a unique proposition for its residents and the businesses who operate within its boundaries. But with more than one million people passing through the area every day, Westminster faces the challenges presented by poor air quality. This is a problem that we are committed to tackling, and it is here that you can catapult your career potential with the Cross River Partnership, a not-for-profit private-public partnership that delivers ground-breaking projects.
Cross River Partnership’s (CRP’s) Deliver London Programme is developing an air quality programme of work which complements and interlinks with other CRP Programmes, making a major contribution to CRP’s four quality of life objectives:
- Good Jobs,
- Strong Businesses,
- Clean Air, and
- Great Places.
Using your knowledge of environmental and air quality issues, you will take a guiding hand in delivering a range of projects and ensuring that they are cost-effective and meeting deadlines.
Working across a wide range of projects, you will work with both the wider team and CRP's partners and stakeholders. You will therefore have exceptional verbal and written communication skills, experience of business engagement to implement behaviour change and good business sustainability knowledge as well as understanding the complexities of balancing the needs of private and public sector partners.
