The Avon Pension Fund is a multi-employer fund administered by Bath & North East Somerset Council. With a current value of £4.4 billion, it is one of the largest local authority funds in the UK.
We are seeking to appoint a Pensions Valuation Officer to join the Investments and Finance Team. Within the team you will be responsible for admitting new employers into the Fund, preparing the IAS19 / FRS101/102 disclosures for employers, and assisting with the monitoring of the financial status of employers. In addition, as part of a small team, you will assist with other projects as they arise.
Building effective relationships both internally and with the Fund’s employers will be a key part of the role. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to develop a career in finance. We are looking for someone with good interpersonal skills, strong numerical skills and who enjoys working within a small team.
