The SCR Executive Team is now recruiting for a Projects and Contracts Officer (Salary £27,358 - £29,909).
The SCR Operational Contracts team is responsible for the day to day management of all SCR projects on behalf of the Combined Authority and LEP. This requires leading on the development of the contract and managing the project or scheme throughout its life to project close.
The role demands attention to detail, ability to manage multiple contracts with different requirements, confidence to work with a range of partners, the tenacity to challenge under delivery or performance and the foresight to escalate emerging issues.
The role involves providing professional and practical support with the development, commissioning and delivery of SCR programmes and projects with a focus on securing the achievement of outcomes and results. This will involve end to end contract management processes, including supporting procurement with the production of service specifications, drafting contracts, and monitoring contractual compliance and performance. The role will have responsibility for monitoring project finances. This role will work within a challenging and complex policy environment and with senior stakeholders.
