Main advert detailWe are looking for a flexible and enthusiastic Nursery Assistant to join our Bright Start team to deliver outstanding early years care and education to children ages 6 months to 5 years.
The role will be for 26.25 hours per week; the shift pattern is flexible and based on the need of the nursery, but will be agreed for each week in advance.
Applicants must have at least one GCSE A_C or 9-4 or Level 2 NVQ or Level 2 functional skills or equivalent.
You will need to be an excellent communicator with co-workers, parents, and other professionals, and be sensitive to the needs of young children. As well as being a key person for a small group of children, you will haven an active part in a stimulating educational environment.
Our ideal candidate will have experience of working in an early year’s setting, with creative ideas on how to deliver outstanding provision. Experience of working with children with SEND, or English as an additional language, is very welcome.
