About the role

Framfield CEP School (part of the St Thomas á Becket Church of England Federation) a happy and successful Church of England Primary School in Framfield (near Uckfield), East Sussex is looking for a new member of support staff to add to their TA and MDSA team within our small busy rural school.
We are looking for the successful applicant to start as soon as possible.
Teaching Assistant - 26.25 hours a week SS3, point 7 £22,737 PA, pro rata
You will be working alongside a class teacher preparing and undertaking educational support duties; assisting the class teacher(s) in the day to day needs of the pupils in their care; enabling the teacher to implement the curriculum and respond to the pupils' needs, whilst maintaining complete confidentiality on all school matters. Hours to be 8.30-Midday and 1.30-3.15pm daily.
MDSA - 5 hours a week SS2, point 4 £22,366 PA, pro rata
To supervise, interact and take care of the children during the lunchtime period both in the school hall while children are eating lunches and in the playground of the school. Hours to be midday - 1pm daily.
In the first instance these contracts will be offered as fixed term, expiring 28/03/24.
Total hours worked per week = 31.25 hours a week

Interviews: TBC; 29/11 and 30/11 in the afternoon or 01/12 all day. These will be confirmed with you following a successful application.
Work Permits: we may be able to obtain a Work Permit for this post but this is subject to meeting the requirements of the UK Border Agency’s Points-based Immigration System.
Due to the restrictions we cannot guarantee that individuals that meet the requirements of the Points-based Immigration System will be issued with clearance to obtain work permits.
