Early Birds Nursery has an exciting opportunity within the leadership team.  We are looking for a Deputy Nursery Manager to be part of this dynamic, outstanding provision. 

 

Early Birds Nursery is part of North Somerset Council Nursery and Children Centre provision. The nursery offers a high-quality learning and development environment for children aged 0 to 4 years. The nursery is open from 8am to 6pm and the nursery manager will be working across 4 or 5 days including some 8.am and 6 pm finishes (occasionally later for meetings).

 

The nursery consists of light and spacious playrooms and outside areas which offer a holistic, open ended learning environment. We also have highly skilled and trained Early Years Practitioners who provide a warm, loving and nurturing environment.

 

The ideal applicant will have a qualification in Early Years and Child Development to at least Level 6 or above. Practical experience of working within Early Years and a thorough understanding of the principles of the Early Years services available, legal responsibilities, work practices and processes will be required.  Experience in leadership and management within the Early Years will also be an advantageous.   (Please see the Job Description for full details of the post requirements.)
