If so, the role of Civil Enforcement Officer could well suit you. Covering the whole of Tonbridge and Malling Borough, you will have the role of enforcing Parking and Traffic Regulations and Orders.
You will offer advice on parking and other Council matters, and will issue Penalty Charge Notices where necessary. Other duties will include positioning temporary signs and reporting defects in lines, signs and the fabric of the car parks.
Patrols are carried out on foot and in vehicles, and you will use a hand held capture device, make concise notes and deal tactfully with members of the public. The job involves weekend and evening working on a shift basis.
