HOUSING OPTIONS ADVISOR
Salary Range: £25,980 to £32,479 per annum
37 hours per weekPermanent

We are looking for an experienced officer to join our housing team and deliver our homelessness and housing options service. You will provide housing advice and assistance to customers and ensure that the Council fully meets its statutory responsibilities including those introduced by the Homelessness Reduction Act 2017. This includes receiving and assessing homeless applications, preparing and delivering personalized action plans, issuing decision notices and delivering the Bucks Home Choice social housing allocations scheme.
This role will require you to deal with customers and partner agencies face to face, by telephone and in writing. You will have excellent communication skills, proven experience in undertaking housing advice and homelessness case work and a demonstrable ability to manage a busy workload with minimal supervision. You will need to be an enthusiastic team player with strong interpersonal and computer skills and have a demonstrable experience of delivering advice and support to the public as well as liaising with other statutory and public bodies.
