Community Support Workers
Permanent and fixed term roles available, on full and part time basis
£8.82 - £9.01 per hour basic rate
At Rutland Council we are proud of the support we provide to adults of our community who have a variety of learning disabilities. As a Community Support Worker you will be providing direct support to meet individual’s needs to enable our service users to maintain their independence, choice and control. You would be based in Oakham at either one of our Support Living Bungalows that provides 24/7 care or at our Day Centre. Due to the nature of these roles, some elements of moving and handling, driving and delivering personal care will be needed.
Some previous experience of this type of role would be really helpful and your enthusiasm, flexibility and positive attitude is rewarded by working with an amazing team.
