Health and Wellbeing Engagement Officer
Salary: £23,866 - £26,470 per annum, plus £857 Inner Fringe Allowance (rising to £27,358 after 5 years’ continuous service
36 hours per week
Would you welcome the challenge of developing and delivering projects and initiatives that encourage community engagement, participation and healthy lifestyles? The Community Health & Wellbeing Team is seeking to appoint an experienced health and wellbeing engagement officer with excellent inter-personal and organisational skills. You will be responsible for the development and delivery of projects and initiatives that encourages improvement to health and wellbeing, participation and community cohesion through partnership working.
The successful candidate would be expected to work in partnership with key stakeholders to develop and deliver sustainable health and wellbeing projects to increase participation in sport and physical activity and further enhance quality of life.
A wide range of experience in community development work or similar is essential, as is project management experience. You will have a proven track record of working in partnership with a range of agencies from the public, private and third sector.
The Council are currently undertaking a review of its pay and benefits and the salary stated above is subject to change. If you are shortlisted, the proposed pay rates will be discussed during the interview process. It is not expected that salaries will be less than that stated above.
