About the role

The opportunity has arisen for a hardworking, caring and empathetic team player to join our school community as a member of our Pastoral Team, working alongside one of our Heads of House.

If you have interpersonal skills, experience of providing support to children, the ability to remain calm under pressure and are able to work both independently and as part of a team then you could be exactly the candidate we are seeking.

This role is integral to the provision of outstanding pastoral support for our students. Our Pastoral Team work closely with a wide range of other members of staff from the school, together with external agencies, in providing support for the welfare of our students. All members of the team support our students in a consistent manner underlining our high expectations as a school; seeking to remove any barriers to learning, progress and development and helping our students to become the best possible version of themselves.

The role also contains some administrative elements, therefore the successful candidate will need to be organised, methodical and systematic, whilst maintaining confidentiality at all times.

37 hours per week  (8.30am – 4.30pm Monday – Thursday 8.30am – 4.00pm Friday) 45.05 weeks per year.
