Professional, effective business and administrative support is essential to the Service, and we are currently looking to recruit a Business and Practice Manager who will be responsible for the delivery of business and administrative support to a range of disciplines within the Law and Governance Service.

You will be responsible for the delivery of business and administrative support to a range of disciplines within the Law and Governance Service. Knowledge and experience of how a Legal Service functions, the requirements of the Solicitors Regulation Authority and experience of operating a Legal Case Management system is essential.

This role offers a real variety of duties including but not limited to:

  • Reviewing performance and management through reporting
  • Business analysis
  • Liaising with services and suppliers
  • SRA Management and compliance
  • Assisting with recruitment and HR matters
  • Managing the Business Support Team
  • Assisting with managing external client relationships

We are looking for a highly organised, enthusiastic and proactive individual, with first-class communication and business development skills to join us.  You should be a team player, who is flexible in approach, and an innovative thinker who can influence and drive progress, and want to play a prominent role in helping the Service to develop and improve.

We've embraced new ways of working and hybrid working between home and office will be a feature of this role, working at the office 2-3 days per week, when necessary. Our technology platform and equipment allow you to connect and collaborate remotely which requires that you have in place good connectivity.
