About the role
Do you want to make a difference to families lives in East Sussex? If you do; consider joining the Early Help Parenting Team.
We are looking for 1.6 full time equivalent posts. This could be a mixture of full or part-time. These are permanent posts.
As a Parenting Practitioner you will supporting families in making those changes that can support resilience, improve emotional well-being and have a positive impact on family relationships.
You will provide this support by delivering evidence based parenting programmes across the county. Most of delivery is virtual so experience of working with MS Teams would be useful.
We are looking for candidates who:
- Are passionate about helping families help themselves
- Have experience of working with groups and, preferably, experience of delivering parenting programmes
- Are able to travel to our office base in Bexhill
- Have a L4 qualification
The work of the parenting team works with families through all the stages of development from infancy to adolescence. Our work is high impact. We know we are making a difference because that’s what families tell us.

Your starting salary will be pro rata if the above position is part-time or term-time only.
